[[File:HumansofsagecreekPost18.jpg|thumb|left|512px|]] | [[File:HumansofsagecreekPost18.jpg|thumb|left|512px|Exciting: Ground has officially broken on the long awaited addition of a luxury shopping mall to the Sage Creek Campus. The new Westfield mall includes a 40,000 square foot Macy's, replacing both the 2000 and 3000 buildings. The city of Carlsbad deemed the school "Unnecessary, and a waste of money" in a town hall meeting in June 2017, and congress agreed to destroy the school, keeping only the PE locker rooms to house remaining students. The new mall has already brought an influx of jobs: Hot Topic, previously the counselors office, has already agreed to hire upcoming juniors Skylar Jonson and Brett Paulson. Several teachers previously employed at Sage Creek have agreed to a ten year contact working at the Cinnabon stand which will be located where the performance art center was planned. Seniors: starting August 29, please park in the Nordstrom parking garage and expect traffic from the construction- this is not an excuse to be late for class.]] | ||
