The San Bernardino Police Department has confirmed the loss of 19 fellow bobcats in the avalanche at snow summit this weekend "It was so lit!" said Tommy Hirst (Senior) "The ski&snowboard club is all about exploring new extremes, and we proved that today." We interviewed Nicole Morris (Senior), one of the few students to survive: "I was just shredding down the slopes when I heard it, then I was immersed in a throbbing white cloud. As I tumbled through the mist, I was touched softly by the willows. It stimulated me to a natural high only achievable through meditation. Then my body focused, the skis became an extension of my soul and I was able to will myself out of the snow - and I made it back in time to enjoy some hot coca at the lodge! Totally rad!"
