About

After survey results showed a preference for a Performing Arts Center, construction on one began in the 2015-2016 School year. Costing around 14 Million U.S. Dollars to construct, it has changed contracters two times and is currently underway to be finished by the end of the 2017-2018 school year, later than promised.

The Performing Arts Center will be utilized by classes of the 5000 building and potentially by other third party users. Students have noted that this must be the case due to the relatively small size of the liberal and performing arts at Sage Creek High School and the future economic investments that are to be made concerning the use of the center.

The center was already being booked before even being completed due to the planned closure of the Carlsbad Community Cultural Arts Center.
