Sharon told us about her unforgettable times in the silver mine underneath the 3000 building- "Back in the 40's (1840's), we used to go down and hack the silver straight from the walls of the cavern. It wasn't much- but it was a living. After I was killed in the collapse in 1939, the mine had to be closed, but I love that I can still do my part for the community."]] | ||
