A view of the Sage Creek Library.

The Library exists on the first floor of the 2000 building, with the room number 2101. It contains a computer lab, two study rooms (though one has been converted to be an office), 7 tables, 3 with power outlets, and a number of chairs with desk attachments for reading or doing homework.

The Librarian is currently Golnessa Shali, who has been the librarian since the 2020-2021 school year.

History/Layout Changes

Historically, the computer lab had the smaller Dell institutional desktop PCs commonly found in schools.

Starting in 2017-2018, The engineering room in the 5000 building switched from larger format Dell PCs with Nvidia Quadros to iMac all in ones. The larger Dell computers were moved into the library to replace the older smaller PCs.

Initially, the library offered phone chargers - both iPhone and Android - that were available at the tables freely for anyone who came into the library to study or chill. This changed a little over 3 years into the school's existence though, when in the 2016-2017 school year, Librarian Cathy Asker removed them due to continued theft. Chargers are still available at the front but students have to leave their phones in order to charge them.

The two rooms at the southern end of the library were both student rentable study rooms, where one or more students could reserve a time to be able to use the rooms, which have soundproofing and allow for talking or discussion in the otherwise quiet library. At some point during the 2017-2018 school year, then principal Cesar Morales moved into the western study room and made it his office.
