Overview
The Senior Prank of 2018 was Sage Creek's second "Senior Prank".
The Class of 2018 was behind this prank.
Idea
The Class of 2018 wanted to organize a "camping trip" on the school in which students would show up on a Wednesday(so as to not have to wake up as early) and ultimately culminate the prank in a Ditch Day.
This was chosen from a few ideas in order to avoid causing damage or making a mess of the school.
Execution
Students began showing up at around 10:30PM and after a number of students showed up and set up their tents and sleeping bags on the Bobcat Stadium, police were called.
This wasn't the end though as students were notified that the parking lots are technically public land and they would be able to continue their camping trip in the spaces there.
Students moved their equipment to the parking lots where they spent the night.
The following morning at around 5:30AM, students were awoken by principle Cesar Morales letting them know they had to leave before morning traffic began.
A number of students left, and a good portion of those that left would later return, in typical sage creek fashion.
Students interviewed said that they had chosen to do this idea for a prank because they didn't want to do something that would cause the Teachers or janitorial staff to have any more work, for which the students were commended at a later assembly showing the relatively clean parking lot.
A police officer that did a routine sweep commented that the prank itself was "pretty lame" but that he was glad students weren't creating a headache.
