About
Every year, Sage Creek plays its rival school, Carlsbad High School in two basketball games.
These games are widely attended by both schools, often rivaling attendance of the annual Hoopcoming Game.
One game is played at Sage Creek, and one game at Carlsbad. For sake of my workload, only the Home game is documented as a page, with info about the away game being contained in the same page.
As Sage Creek doesn’t have a football team, this game is viewed as important by both schools since it is for the most part evenly matched (by win/loss not by school population or division).
For the most part, the schools have handed off winning and losing about equal games. This happened despite Sage Creek having almost half the population size, and competing in other sports at a D3 or higher level vs Carlsbad being a generally a D1 School.
